I had great hope the hat would keep the sun off my temple area as I did beach walks. Well the slightest breeze or even just me walking lifts the forward brim and it folds back from the breeze exposing my temples and lower forehead to the sun. No matter how hard I try to pull or " bend " the brim flops upward and backward from the breeze ( very light
