I was really excited to get this hat. I have several Colombia products that I love; in fact the only toque I will wear when I'm out in the winter is Colombia. I wore this hat on three hikes. The first it was a little floppy but I expected that from the reviews. The second it rained so the hat got wet. It was floppier but I figured it wold dry out and return to normal. When dry the top layer of fabric lifted up and bubbled everywhere. This weekend I went backpacking I couldn't tolerate wearing my hat because it got so floppy that the sides were touching my face. The headband does not fit as it should and does not fit against the head.

The brim looks much more rigid in the photo, but in actuality, it is pretty floppy. So, you can quickly look to your right, or left, and not be able to see as brim is flopped down! I almost sent this back, as will not be able to use it for the activity I bought it for, but decided to keep it for general use.
