Loose strings. Looks like fabric was fatigued. Button holes were too loose.

I got several of these for working outdoors in the Florida summer. They allowed air flow, wicked away moisture as advertised, and were extremely comfortable. Fit as expected. My only complaint is that the very first time out, I got a small snag in the fabric. My yard work tends to be vigorous (carrying tree limbs and doing rock work, as well as mowing grass), and something snagged it. It didn't make a hole, but I'm not sure how the fabric will wear long-term. Otherwise I loved the shirts.
