Bought these for a trip to Colorado. They are sturdy, offer good foot support yet have the flexibility you get in a sneaker. In other words, not too clunky!

Runs very small and tight toe box. Uncomfortable.

Great hiking boots , but had to order the next size up they run a little small

I originally bought these from the Columbia website but they were too small, so I bought them a half size up from a different retailer. Upon trying to return the boots that were too small to a Columbia store, I found out I could only receive store credit since I paid with PayPal, or I could return them by mail and $6 would be subtracted from my refund. I wish this had been disclosed upon purchase instead of hidden in the return policy section of the website. I bought these because they were labeled as waterproof but unfortunately they are not. I wore the correct size boots during a walk in dewy morning grass, not even walking through puddles or mud, and I could feel water reach my socks after about 20 min. They were a comfortable boot but I returned them because I need something that is truly waterproof. I previously had a pair of Columbia boots that were waterproof enough for me to standing in shallow tides, which is why I bought another pair confidently. I

I normally wear a size 7.5. I ordered a size 8 and they perfect, right out the box. No breaking in needed. The shoes make my feet happy. Very comfortable. Would recommend.
