Thought Columbia only made jackets. Wow. These sturdy and comfy shoes are primo quality. Stand all day

I wore these twice for light hiking and the rubber on the toe and sole broke apart. Not the quality I was expecting g from a Columbia product

I got these on August 31 2022. Looks great, fits true to size, is very comfortable, waterproof, and all. Usage? 99% casual wear (~3-5 miles per day), 1% hiking (~10 miles per day). Let's say I wore them every day since I got them. That would be 8 months of use. Current condition? Look at the attached photo. For comparison second pair of shoes, these are a pair of noname sneakers used in a similar manner March ~ August every year since 2018 which I bought for $10. $70 for less than a year or $10 for 5 and counting? yeah, tough choice.
